Our licensing system will migrate to the Chaos licensing system in late May, 2025.
Why?
- so that we can have a streamlined way to access all Chaos products in one place
- enables really cool integrations that are coming soon
- better usage analytics, so you can better understand how the apps are used in your firm
- better SSO options (including signing with Google, Trimble, or a corporate email)
- Improved security and more robust account, license management, and invoice reporting features
How will it affect me?
This depends on which app you use. We tried to keep this update as seamless as possible, some important changes will affect your experience:
Veras
This update will be an automatic web update, and for the most part this should be a seamless transition.
You will see a different login than what you are used to, but the same email and password that you’ve used in the past should work. In some cases, you might need to reset your password.
Your Veras settings and presets will work as they did before.
However, there are a few edge cases that might need to do some additional steps (see below).
Veras for Allplan & Forma
This version auto-updates and it will just work.
Veras for Sketchup v1.9.7.1 and below
If you are using a version 1.9.7.1 and below of Veras for SketchUp you will need to update your extension. Veras will no longer work without the update, after the grace period expires.
Veras for Remaining Integrations v2.0.2.0 and below
If you are using a version 2.0.2.0 and below of Veras for Revit, Rhino, Archicad or Vectorworks you will need to update your extension. Veras will no longer work without the update, after the grace period expires.
Glyph, Helix, Morphis, & Bento
- Glyph, Helix, Morphis, and Bento will require a mandatory update to work with the new Chaos login.
- Update link will be updated here when it is available and will also be displayed within the apps.
- There will be a grace period to update to the new installers after which we will deprecate the old licensing of previous versions.
Licensing Portal
The seat management will be handled in the Chaos licensing portal: https://my.chaos.com/

Grace Period
All the currently supported versions of our apps will keep working after the migration is made available. The grace period will end on June 20, 2025
