Chaos Portal Transition – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Why is the billing entity changing?
Chaos has acquired EvolveLAB, and as part of the transition, billing responsibilities are
moving to Chaos entities:
- United States Customers: Billed by Chaos Software Inc.
- All Other Countries: Billed by Chaos Software GmbH
2. What is changing for my customer experience?
Chaos is unifying all EvolveLAB products under one streamlined system. Key updates include:
- New Customer Portal: License management now takes place at my.chaos.com. The old EvolveLAB portal is being retired.
- New Login Page: Access through accounts.chaos.com. You may be asked to provide personal information (name, country, address) on first login for compliance.

- Enhanced Licensing Capabilities : Chaos includes more login options (Google, Trimble, SSO), stronger security, team analytics, license update notifications, centralized billing reports, and more.
3. What changes are happening with license management?
- Domain-based licensing will no longer be supported.
- The license manager role is being retired.
- A single admin will now manage all licenses, including assignments and renewals.
4. What’s happening with the billing provider?
We are transitioning from Stripe to Zuora, Chaos’ unified subscription platform.
As a result:
- Payment methods like Google Pay, Cash App, Stripe Link, and ACH credit transfers are no longer supported.
- Please update your billing information manually at: https://my.chaos.com/billing/information
5. Are there changes to pricing?
Commercial Fixed Subscriptions:
- Annual Pricing (decrease):
- Veras, Glyph, Helix: -15%
- Morphis: -25%
- Monthly Pricing (increase):
- Veras: +20%
- Morphis: +25%
- Helix, Glyph: +40%
Tip: Switch to annual subscriptions to benefit from reduced rates.
Student Subscriptions:
- Annual Pricing: Veras (Students): -25%
- Monthly Subscriptions: Will no longer be available for new purchases or renewals. Existing ones remain active until expiration.
6. Is the All Apps Suite still available?
- No, new subscriptions are no longer offered.
- Yes, existing license holders can continue renewing.
Note: Once an All Apps Suite license expires, it cannot be reactivated.
7. Will taxes be applied?
Yes. VAT or sales tax will be charged on all new purchases and renewals, as required by your local regulations. To ensure correct calculation, update your billing address and VAT number (if applicable) in the Chaos customer portal. Accurate info is legally required.
8. What about my data privacy?
Your personal data is now protected under the Chaos Privacy Policy. Chaos complies with all relevant regulations and is committed to keeping your information secure.
