Can I have a bigger number of images if I’m not creating videos? Does that helps my quota stay stronger if it’s used only for images and not for videos too?
Yes, that is correct. Videos and images draw from the same shared quota.
For example, with a Veras subscription, you can make 200 1k/2k Nano Banana image renderings per month if you only make images. If you were making videos intermittently during that month, you number of images you are able to make would be fewer than 200.
Video creation is half the cost of a 1k/2k image render though, just fyi.
