Dimension Improvements

Reuse Existing Dimensions Setting Added

With this option enabled, Glyph will reuse existing dimensions (modifying or adding to them where applicable). When disabled, Glyph will create new dimensions, which may result in duplicates.

:right_arrow: Benefit: This ensures Glyph reuses dimensions instead of creating the same ones twice, keeping drawings cleaner and easier to manage.

  • The “Select All” button now selects only the elements currently displayed, instead of all elements in the list.

Bugs :bug:

  • Fixed issue where room dimensions did not include room separator lines.
  • Fixed “By Line Dimension Walls – Tie All Grids” condition
  • Fixed grid dimensions in linked models.
  • Fixed floor dimensions in linked models (previously not detected when below 0’-0”).
  • Fixed railing dimensions when a top rail is active.
  • Fixed structural framing dimensions.
  • Fixed curtain wall grid dimensions when the Curtain Grid setting (instead of mullion) was selected.
  • Fixed issue where Glyph would not close after closing all views in a document with linked models, if no other documents were open.
  • Fixed issue where Glyph tabs were imported into other projects when switching projects, if the document contained linked models.

Improvements :roller_coaster:

  • Improved the backend for the following dimension options, making it easier for users to manually edit dimensions when needed:
    • Rough opening dimensions
    • Wall sections
    • Door and window dimensions
  • Grid dimensions in elevation
    • Grid dimensions in elevation now take into account the position of the grid bubble and place the dimension directly below it.

Bugs :bug:

  • Fixed behavior when reusing dimensions on diagonal walls.
  • Fixed a bug where filters were not saving for view, sheet, room, and level selection lists.
  • Fixed a condition where Glyph would not open correctly in multiple Revit versions simultaneously.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when the level dimension offset was set to zero.
  • Fixed handling of scope box elevation labels (North, South, West, East).
  • Fixed rotation of scope box elevations when True North was rotated in the Revit model.
