Create Glazing Elevations By Category and Mark Value

I have been trying to configure a bundle that will elevate our interior and exterior glazing expanses and sheet them. I have created 95% of the process and it runs without any issues. My firm differentiates glazing using the Revit ‘Mark’ parameter, assigning each unique condition a unique value (SF1, SF2, CW1, CW2, etc.). To achieve a perfect 100% on this routine, it seems it would be necessary to be able to select ‘Unique Elements By Mark’ from the Element Selection options but that option is not available.

I have tried to use filtering and have gotten close by filtering out only curtain walls that have a ‘Mark’ value assigned. This, however, still results in multiple views being created and added to sheets for instances that have the same ‘Mark’ value. This is not big of a deal on a small project but could become an issue when running it on a large project. The unnecessary views also throws off our view naming since the name of each elevation get assigned by the ‘Mark’ value.

Long story short, is the addition of a ‘Unique Elements by Mark’ option on the roadmap? Or, is there a configuration of filters I am missing that would essentially only create one elevation for each unique curtain wall ‘Mark’ value?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Elliottk ,

Thank you for posting in our forum! Great suggestion, I can see the use case of adding “Unique Elements By Mark” as an option. I have added it to our roadmap and will be added to Glyph in future releases.

Thanks,
Miguel
