3D functions: basics missing

@marcokiare - the workflow is specific and the UI is not as helpful as the image tab.

For asset gen, here are the steps:

  1. need to have a 3d model loaded by opening Veras inside SketchUp (obj upload becomes a dead end at the moment)
  2. use the 3d model source to make an AI rendering (this is important)
  3. then go to the model tab and select the rendering generated using the 3d model
  4. then you can follow through the main button at the bottom left to get an asset placed. It will:
    • segment the image
    • select detected objects in the image that do not exist in the model (only exists in the ai render)
    • the selected objects are matched with an Cosmos asset (or generated from scratch)
    • the object is placed in your scene
    • you can then bake the asset to your parent app: Revit, Rhino, SketchUp supported

However, this is now fully automated with the Agent mode released yesterday, where the agent will try to map any view to any model (or generate the model). This is more dynamic and more capable, but costs more credits. Release post: Veras 5.2 - Agentic Modeling with Astra & Opus
