@bill.allen and I had the pleasure talking with Dan Stine at our AU booth, where he showcased some amazing book covers generated using Veras. I got to see the physical books in person, and it was impressive to see how Veras had brought Dan’s designs to life.
Dan recently shared his workflow with the community, using the Revit add-in version of Veras to generate his book covers. in Revit he started with a rendered or shaded 3D view. He made sure to leave the “Override Geometry” slider set to NOT override the geometry, which is key to achieving realistic results.
Check out his blog post about it:
And let’s not forget what’s truly important - these books are phenomenal! Our own employees have used them as part of their Revit learning journey. We’re honored to be a part of history in these new Revit prints!
