First off, thank you for the amazing work you’ve done with your plugins. They’ve become an essential part of my Revit workflow, and I really appreciate the value they bring to streamlining and enhancing productivity.
That said, I’ve noticed that the plugins are still only compatible with Revit 2024. With Revit 2025 well underway, and now Revit 2026 officially released, bringing some incredibly useful features, it’s been challenging not being able to use Evolve tools with the latest versions.
I completely understand that updating plugins takes time and careful development, but I just wanted to express how much these tools are missed. Many of us in the community rely heavily on them and would love to see support for newer Revit versions as soon as it’s feasible.
Looking forward to any updates you might be able to share!
I will second what @Ben said - Thank you for mentioning this, as it’s helpful for us to continue to know what features are important to y’all, and this makes sense.
From a technical standpoint, Revit 2025 switched the coding framework it uses, which made the update more difficult that previous years, especially based on how we had previously set up our add-ins and their programming environments.
That said, once we do add support for Revit 2025, adding Revit 2026 should be very similar to that, so I imagine we will be able to release both together.
Thanks again for the feedback and nudge!
Edit: If I remember, I’ll try to post in update in this thread (as well as our typically release forum topics) once these updates are available!
Thanks so much @Ben and @Daniel for the insight and for taking on the Revit 2025 support challenge! I really appreciate your hard work and transparency about the technical hurdles. I’ll be looking forward to both the 2025 and 2026 updates.
thank you again for pushing this forward!
