New Video Mode
With the new Veras 3.0 release, we now get access to the new Video mode! You can do some pretty wild explorations with it. Here are some cool workflows we’ve tested out:
- changing the lighting from daylight to night
- changing the season from winter to summer
- populating an empty room
- removing existing furniture from a room
- animating assets and effects (fire, water, rain, snow…)
- animating sketches and non-realistic scenes
- exploding buildings

Day to Night
This is one of my favorites, as it dramatically changes the scene, and exposes how the materiality is affected by the change in lighting. It’s also really neat how it works for both interiors and exteriors. The preset used ships with Veras: Vid - Light to Dark
Prompt: light turns to dark and the interior lights turn on

Winter to Summer
This was another fun test: can it change my scene from a snow filled landscape to a summery day? It took some playing to make it work, and there is still some prompt engineering that can further improve this, but here’s what worked so far.
Prompt: winter turns into summer timelapse with leaves growing on trees and snow turns to lush grass, the camera is orbiting
Populating an Empty Room
This this workflow is one of the more animated ones, easily loosing hours in the fun of it. The idea is simple: take an empty room and populate it based on the prompt.
Here are the designs it came up with, along with the entertaining animations:
Kitchen
Prompt: populate room with interior furniture, cabinets and fixtures and make it a kitchen using a modern minimal style, wood upper cabinets, back lower cabinets, blue kitchen island, concrete countertop, use a popping animation for the added elements
Bedroom
Prompt: populate room with interior furniture and make it a bedroom using a modern minimal design, furniture and finishes explode from the center of the scene
Bathroom
Prompt: populate room and make it a cozy bathroom using a Scandinavian style, free standing claw foot tub in the center of the room, open rain shower in corner with water running, add a fireplace
Empty the Room
You can get creative on how this is useful, but here’s an example of how it works in action.
Prompt: the camera is fixed, no camera motion, and make all the furnishings furniture and finishes disappear in thin air to create a completely empty space
Animating Assets and Effects
This might be one of the most popular use cases, as having animated assets brings life to your designs. What’s really neat is that it can work with any input image: it can be an Enscape render or a Veras render, or anything you want to upload.
Cars, People and Vegetation
Water
Prompt: architectural walkthrough of a drone shot with a waterfall in the foreground. the drone dollies forwards toward the building
Rain
Prompt: it’s a rainy scene with water droplets are visibly falling to the ground, and water puddles catching each drop of rain. the rain intensifies and it gets heavier rain. the wind is blowing making the trees sway from side to side
Snow
Prompt: it’s a snowy winter scene. snow starts to gently fall. the wind is blowing making the trees sway from side to side
Fire
Prompt: interior architectural walkthrough
Sketch & Watercolor Styles
Prompt: branches swaying in the subtle wind, camera dolly forwards, camera drone moves to an aerial view

Fun
You got to have some fun with it!
Explosive Furniture Placement
Building exploding
Prompt: building exploding into another building
