once i’ve do AI on an upload image to the web-version of veras, how do i start over from scratch to re-try different prompts and settings? thanks.
are there any differences between the web version and the plugin? i am coming from Vray / 3ds Max although we do also use Revit/Enscape. thanks.
what’s the difference between ENHANCE and RENDER? does ENHANCE need a prompt or can it be left alone. Can you exclude items such as people (people seem to get really messed up when i use enhance)
In Compose or Explore, each new rendering will be starting over from that same uploaded image.
Edit is typically is done after a Compose or Explore rendering and will use that rendered result as the base. As you are usually using the Render Selection to edit just a targeted area and provide it a new prompt/settings. You can use Edit on images that have no rendering as well if you only want to prompt the AI on a targeted area of an image.
Enhance was a lot more useful when the render engines didn’t produce at as high quality. It would make images clearer and sharper. We intend on releasing an update that will catch enhance up to the current render engines and provide the same experience. Right now, you will not see much change as the results right from the render engine are on par with what Enhance will provide.
Generally, the versions will produce identical results because they all look at the same webapp. The Application specific plugins do provide additional features like converting your 3D model for the 3D viewer. For 2D it provides a smoother workflow as your current view in your authoring app will provide the preview image that its working with. Saves you doing image capture and upload.
The webapp however does provide more flexibility with the opportunity to upload a completely different image or model whenever you want. So, it all likely depends on what you are trying to get done, I’m often using one or the other for various reasons.
You may find a video more helpful for explaining this than over text. We have a number of Veras workflow videos that you’ll find helpful.
