The SketchUp warehouse never fails to amaze with its treasure trove of 3D models. For this workflow, I stumbled upon an intriguing A-frame architecture that can be used to generate some gorgeous renderings.

Explore Prompts and Settings
The next step was to boot up Veras, and experiment with different prompts. I started with the base prompts in the explore mode tab, and then gradually changed them to test out different seasons, mood and materiality. The output is stunning, and the results below were not cherry picked (from 4 renders per prompt, two were chosen on average).

Comparison to Original Geometry
Looking at the rendered output, the geometry retention is quite accurate. It also helps that this model has the background modeled as a painted backdrop.

Upscaling
Let’s say that the aesthetic, and all other parts of the drawing are what we want, but the resolution is still not enough. We can take the render (1408x10240) and upscale it to 6432x4672:
NOTE: high rez images properly save with the high resolution. However, if you want to further refine the images using the Render Selection feature, the image will first downscale to a compatible resolution. Therefore it’s best to run the upscaling last, when we have an image that doesn’t need more refinement. To help the user, the render thumbnail has a warning icon in the top left corner:
