Hi,
I’m currently experiencing issues with installing the Glyph plugin for Revit.
A company I work with is hoping to trial Glyph to determine if it’s suitable for our workflow, but I haven’t been able to get past the installation stage.
Initially, I downloaded the plugin directly from the Autodesk website. After installing it, I launched Revit (2025), only to be met with an error message:
When I clicked “Download Update,” a window appeared but failed to load, as shown in the screenshot below:
I then visited the Chaos website listed in the error message. After being redirected, I was prompted to create a Chaos account. I completed the sign-up and verification process, then downloaded another version of the Glyph plugin from the Chaos site. After installing it and launching Revit, a new error appeared:
Suspecting that the two different installations might be conflicting, I uninstalled both versions and reinstalled each one separately to test them individually.
After reinstalling the Autodesk version, Glyph did appear in the Revit ribbon (as it had previously). However, when I attempted to use the plugin, I received the same error message again.
I tried logging in using the credentials I created with my Chaos account, and then my Autodesk credentials. But received a “wrong username/password” message repeatedly. I attempted to reset my password several times but never received a reset email. I also tried reinstalling each the plugin again, with no success.
When I installed the Chaos version of Glyph (after uninstalling the Autodesk version), I continued receiving the same error message repeatedly.
I haven’t been able to reach the trial or payment stage with either version. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you!
