Edit -> Drawing a new shape fails

This behavior is not immediate but occurs after some number of renders and edits. Creating a new shape fails. The drawing dot appears, and the zoom function works. No paths are formed; no shape is created. Render Selection re-renders the entire scene.

@dclarkearchitect Thanks for bringing our attention to this bug. I am going to create a bug ticket for it, and I would think we can get this resolved for our next Veras release. I’ll re-ping you here when we do. Thanks again.
