Hi
I wonder if it’s possible to a photo?
Like - if I have a photo of a courtyard, with surrounding buildings, can I then use Vera to add a greenhouse / orangery in the photo?
Thanks

You can definitely do that by uploading into the standalone web-app version of Veras, the photo you want to work with: https://veras.evolvelab.io/
…and then using render selection tool. Results will vary, of course. It always helps if there is something already there in the image that can serve as a structural basis–a scaffolding, figuratively speaking. Also, make sure to max out the material and geometry override.
Hi Greg
Thanks for your reply. As I like to keep things inside Sketchup, I tried to setup a photomatch in Sketchup, but it seems that Veras double the image in the x/axe. The same happens when the image is added as a watermark.
Is there a way to fix that?
Could be a cool way to work with Skechup / Veras

Edit - watermarks / backgrounds renders fine, its just when i photomatch view it seems to mess up. If i just could get the camera settings from the photomatch to the non photomatch, then it could work - i guess.

I’m not much of a SketchUp user, myself, so I’ll have to play around with that functionality a bit to see what I would recommend. @Ben may lend a suggestion before I get around to it, but I’ll see if I can emulate that workflow, soon.
I see - we’ll have to run some tests using the photomatch view then. I’m assuming that you would like to keep parts of the photomatched photo in the final rendition and just better render the aligned 3d geometry. It’s a really cool workflow actually.
